Bumper Sticker

Image
The guy in front had a red pick-up truck with a healthy covering of dust, a banged up tail-gate, two sheets of five-eighths ply in the box and a bumper sticker that read “My Boss is a Jewish Carpenter” . Pretty effective. Not the ubiquitous fish sign or some scripture verse citation, but rather a real “living in it” message. My Boss  – I claim Him as my own. I am happy to do so. He calls the shots. He has a large bank of experience. He is ultimately responsible for the success of the undertaking. I learn from Him daily, and I do not want to disappoint Him. His wages can’t be compared to anything else. They include contentment, provision, health, peace and blessed assurance. Is  – At this very moment. I claim Him and follow His lead. This is not a past experience of a position I once had. I know a good thing when I see it and I am not leaving. I’ve tried others before. No comparison. Jewish  – Don’t really see many of them in the trades these days. But my Boss would not be prouder of

There are things going on Unseen things in cavities In airways Throat, nasal, roof of mouth Tongue. Diaphragm. Oomph and emphasis . And palms’ chamber. Gutteral or trilling. Easy bluesy bends. Indiara attends To them all within. As melodies begin. The sweeter, the better.

A satisfying taste of Andre Rieu and delightful orchestra.

Fiery Bolero by Ravel. Can you imagine Bo Derek on the beach. Perfect ten. Dancing to Blue Danube by Strauss. And these were reserved Canadians? Adieu. Adieu Lots of Pipers. Home of the Brave. The Man from Maastricht, Netherlands. “Music and Love. There cannot be a better package to deliver.” When other boys played soccer He stroked his violin. They pushed and pulled in mischief. He brought the sheet music in. Twas Strauss and Verdi; dark Ravel. And Beethoven’s Fifth perused. In spite of playmates’ slanderous fluff Dear Andre played amused. He stroked and plucked with vigour And in his inner ear He heard the tunes arresting A World would someday hear.

Holly Holy

Image
V So what does this song mean? Young girl named Holly Peculiar but pleasant Reverent and empathetic. Having prayer power from the Lord. Holy Holly. Encouraging  Worthy of trust, bringing healing. Worthy of a song or two in adulation And thanks and Love from a man. Sing a song, sing it loud. SING. SING. DA DA da da da Da dada da dada. Big sound track etc. Thanks Neil. Thanks Online comment: In an interview with the BBC, Diamond said of this song: "What I tried to do was create a religious experience between a man and a woman, as opposed to a man and a god." This features a gospel choir and a string section arranged by Lee Holdridge.  Neil Diamond's music shows up throughout the Netflix series  Midnight Mass ; "Holly Holy" is used to open the 2021 season 1 episode "Book III: Proverbs."

I've got a little job on 'and, the time is drawin' nigh;     At seven by the Captain's watch I'm due to go and do it; I wants to 'ave it nice and neat, and pleasin' to the eye,     And I 'opes the God of soldier men will see me safely through it. Because, you see, it's somethin' I 'ave never done before;     And till you 'as experience noo stunts is always tryin'; The chances is I'll never 'ave to do it any more:     At seven by the Captain's watch my little job is . . .  dyin' . I've got a little note to write; I'd best begin it now.     I ain't much good at writin' notes, but here goes: "Dearest Mother, I've been in many 'ot old `do's'; I've scraped through safe some'ow,     But now I'm on the very point of tacklin' another. A little job of hand-grenades; they called for volunteers.     They picked me out; I'm proud of it; it seems a trifle dicky. If anythin&

I never knew He needed to find Someone to listen. Cash was getting Mighty slim And drugstore sold elixir. Daughter coughing Pretty hard, and What was there to fix her? Wife was taking off From work, but How the cash was needed. Here I played My little harp, but None passed by to heed it. Soon the words ran Elsewhere, rough And tears flowed From the portals. Listening. Caring. Tough smiles wearing. The best to Find in mortals. Yes they heeded Good lines needed. What a chance of merit. Sing the Lord, the most adored Love it, praise it, wear it. The box near full Of coin they pulled. In two short hours. I swear it.
